2010-11 PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS SOCCER-FEST During Soccer-Fest we will focus on playing soccer with little to no instruction. In fact, our staff is mostly there to ensure the environment is supportive and safe, not to give instruction. The idea is to create a stress-free environment where participants can have fun with the game through a combination of scrimmages and fun technical games. We will begin each day with a welcoming scrimmage whereby the participants make teams and call the game themselves, then we will alternate between technical games and participant driven scrimmages throughout the morning while listening to music thru our QSC Power Speakers. Our most popular technical games are Power and Finesse, Lightning and Run the Gauntlet. We will ensure that each participant spends most of his/her time enjoying the beautiful game with their peers as if they were at their local park with their buddies. This has quickly become one of our most popular programs due to the non-stress environment and fun involved. ELITE ACADEMY This program is designed for the serious soccer player who has made the commitment to strive towards playing at the collegiate, professional and/or international level. Most Elite Day Campers are currently playing premier soccer. In addition, many of these participants are playing at the State, Regional and National Team levels through their State or Super Y ODP systems. This camp is for self-motivated soccer players that are wanting to take their game to the next level. HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL ELITE PRE-SEASON This camp is designed for players looking to take their game to the next level before their fall school season begins. During the week, campers will go through a progressive, soccer specific conditioning program. In addition, our staff will hone their technical skills to ensure that each player will have the opportunity to enter into their pre-season with confidence. Top of Page |
